Moonta Street: Adelaide City Council
Revamp of Moonta Street by the State Government and Adelaide City Council (ACC) including new granite pavers, more outdoor dining areas, new trees, creative lighting and more shade. A push to attract more tourists and boost local business supported this multi-million-dollar investment located in the heart of Chinatown.

OUR INVOLVEMENT
Capisce QS were engaged by ACC to carry out a preliminary estimate on paving upgrade works to Moonta Street, between Grote Street and Gouger Street.
VALUE ADDED
Capisce QS provided ACC with a preliminary estimate that included multiple scope options with risks and consequent contingencies required for each. Capisce QS identified potential savings for Adelaide City Council by providing pavement tile supply rates for local and overseas sourced products to help support ACC project budget.
Sturt Highway Estimates: DPTI
Upgrade and widening of Sturt Highway at Eudunda Road intersection and Dutton Mail road intersection to support increased traffic movements. The project involved road widening, safety bar installation, upgraded guard rails, line marking, tree removal and lighting upgrade.

Capisce QS were engaged by the Department for Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) to provide a detailed estimate in relation to the upgrade works proposed to the two intersections.
VALUE ADDED
The estimating undertaken informed the Department on the implications of differing sequencing and design solutions.
Victor Harbour Road / Goolwa Road Left Turn Deceleration Lane: DPTI
Widening of existing left turn deceleration lane with additional separation to correct driver behaviour and limit congestion.
